Papa Museum, Parliament
Buildings , and the Cable
Car – unique to Wellington and where you can enjoy
a ride to the top of Kelburn and experience the view over Wellington.
A short journey away is the Karori
Wildlife Sanctuary , an inland island filled with native

Papa Museum is the newest and one of New Zealand’s
most exciting museums. Located centrally at the edge of Wellington’s
waterfront, it features Mana Whenua – the world of Maori,
interactive displays, including an earthquake house, Discovery
Centres for children, and the Time Warp zone for exciting rides.
Te Papa also has interesting short-term exhibitions. |
